So you've read the books, too I guess?
Btw: Do you mean with "last one" the third book or the fourth one?
4th one, Dragon's Heart. I just finished it last night.. and finally found out what color Sssargon is, but the base colors of his sisters remain a mystery.
I agree that for the most part her descriptions are wonderful, but there are just a few points, like with the 5 dragons who feature so prominently in the 3rd and 4th books, but have hardly any physical description, compared to once-offs like Mighty Mo who got lavishly described during the fight with poor S'Blood. I have similar problems with White Jenna and Sister Light, Sister Dark. Most of each book is very sound, but then a few scenes(not even consecutive ones) lack in detail, like there was another author or a heavy-handed editor.
Your art makes me want to check out this Pit Dragons series now...
Yeah, you definitely should check out them! These books are epic! ^_^
Mag die texturierung und die Farben x3 Und die Hatchys sind eh voll toll x3
War auch ganz schön hart, das zu malen! XD
Well, that's not Heart's Blood, just a brown dragoness...
Unfortunatly, there's not much fan art here..
Yeah, it's a great book series and my favourite, too.
Your art is also absoulutely lovely I saw your Heart's Blood picture. It's so cool - ...and sad.
Aw, thank you! I've been meaning to draw more fanart of that series, but college has a nasty way of eating up one's time and desire to draw. :c
Oh yeah, I know that problem...
But I hope you'll find some time to draw a pic or two...
I've got the idea to start a fan group for the series on dA, but I wasn't sure if I could handle it, because I'm not a native speaker and I haven't got any experiences in founding and managing groups...
You really hit the moment from the book!
but through all of your pics i gotcha tell ya: your forelegs doen't fit the anatomy of it !;(
keep on drawing!
auch wieder diese farben und wies von wärmeren in kältere farben übergeht ist einfach so zucker
hach herrlich *stolz auf dich ist*
